Healthier Apple Waffles
I love an indulgent treat as much as the next person but sometimes a healthier option is just as satisfying. These apple sugar free waffles are a great treat and the kiddies love them too!

INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Flour
2tsp Baking Powder
1/2tsp Salt
1 Cup Milk
2 Eggs
2 Apples
TOPPINGS (Optional)
Chantilly Cream
Apple Slices
Blueberries
Apple Puree
METHOD
- Start by peeing and chopping your apples. Then place them in a saucepan with a drop of water and stew over a low heat until soft and mushy. Then blend into a puree.
- Next, make your waffle batter. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix. In a new bowl, add the eggs and milk and whisk, then scoop in the apple puree. Apple is the natural sweetener here and it works wonderfully as a flavour.
- Combine the wet and the dry ingredients and whisk until lovely and smooth.
- Heat the waffle iron and when to temperature pour in a ladle of batter, cook for around 4 minutes or to a lovely brown crisp colour.
- Top and ENJOY!
